This policy explains what we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and who else sees it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than the usual boilerplate.
Wishwell Inc. is a wedding photography and film studio based in San Diego, California. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Wishwell Inc., and "you" means anyone using this website.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you fill in a form on this site — the contact form, the home page enquiry, the instant estimate, or the partner hub — we collect what you type into it. Depending on the form, that is:
- Your names and email address
- Your phone number, if you give it
- Your wedding date, venue, location, and guest count
- What coverage you are interested in and your budget range
- How you found us
- Anything you write in the message field
- For the estimate tool, the package you built and the figure it produced
Only your names, email, and date are required. Everything else is optional and only helps us answer you properly.
Information collected automatically
Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and which pages were requested. This is ordinary web infrastructure and we do not use those logs to build any profile of you.
This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. That means Google receives your IP address in order to serve the font files. We do not send Google anything else.
Cookies and tracking
At the time of writing, this website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
The site is built to support Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, but none of them are currently switched on. If we do enable them, they will set cookies and share information about your visit with Google or Meta, and we will update this policy and this section before doing so.
Why we collect it
- To answer you. If you ask whether your date is free, we need your date and a way to reply.
- To quote you accurately. Venue, hours, and guest count change what a wedding costs to cover.
- To follow up. If you enquire and we do not hear back, we may contact you again. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.
- To run the booking. If you book us, your details move into our client system to handle the agreement, invoices, and planning.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with other vendors, venues, or planners unless you have asked us to.
Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run the studio. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job.

These providers are bound by their own agreements with us and may store data in the United States. If you are contacting us from outside the US, your information will be transferred there.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into bookings are kept while there is a realistic chance of working together — generally until after the date you asked about — and then archived or deleted.
Client records are kept for as long as we need them for the booking and afterwards for tax and legal reasons, which in California generally means several years.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Whoever and wherever you are, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Delete it
- Stop contacting you
Email hello@wishwellproductions.com and we will deal with it. We will not charge you and we will not make it difficult.
If you are in California
California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. The requests above cover all of these.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Security
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a database that requires authentication. Our own access is protected by individual logins. No system is perfect, but we do not leave your details lying around.
Children
This site is meant for adults planning weddings. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so rather than quietly editing it.
